Over 60% of Turnstile Purchases Belong to DNIPRO

More than 60% of the turnstiles purchased through Prozorro from 2022 to 2025 were produced by the Ukrainian company "VK Prostir". The study analyzed about 45,000 turnstiles acquired by state customers. DNIPRO turnstiles, along with products from SICH and the American brand CAT, accounted for over 80% of all purchases. A total of 179 contracts worth 25.96 million UAH were included in the sample, with the average cost of one turnstile being around 577 UAH, while DNIPRO supplied them at an average price of 514 UAH per unit. The company "VK Prostir" launched the DNIPRO Gen 2 turnstile in 2022 and increased its revenue by 31% to 129.8 million UAH in 2025. However, the data does not cover the entire turnstile market, as it does not include closed defense contracts and supplies from charitable organizations. SICH-Ukraine reported the delivery of over 500,000 turnstiles to the military in 2023, which may also have occurred outside of Prozorro. As of October 31, 2025, minimum requirements for mechanical turnstiles are in effect in Ukraine, increasing costs for manufacturers and barriers to entry into the market.
