Lenovo Plans to Launch NVIDIA RTX AI PCs in the Second Half of the Year
Lenovo plans to launch AI PCs equipped with NVIDIA RTX chips in the second half of this year. Yang Yuanqing, Chairman and CEO of Lenovo, announced that the company will collaborate with NVIDIA to release RTX chip-based AI PCs. NVIDIA has stated that Windows laptops and small desktops featuring RTX Spark will be launched by various manufacturers this fall. RTX Spark is a platform aimed at personal AI agents, boasting 1 petaflop of AI performance and up to 128GB of integrated memory. Lenovo is focusing on expanding its AI PC product line, recently reporting a revenue of $26.94 billion for the first quarter, a 43% increase compared to the same period last year. Revenue from AI-related products accounts for 35% of total revenue, and revenue from the infrastructure solutions business has nearly doubled. The smart devices business also saw a 27% increase in revenue, allowing Lenovo to maintain its position as the world's leading PC market player with a 24.2% market share.
