Juventus Shows Interest in Dibu Martínez

Juventus has expressed interest in signing Emiliano "Dibu" Martínez, the goalkeeper of the Argentine national team, according to statements from Luciano Spalletti, the club's coach. With just a few days before the 2026 World Cup final against Spain, Martínez's future is being discussed again, with Juventus looking to bring him in from Aston Villa. Spalletti commented: "He is a goalkeeper who wants to change teams, and we are looking for competitiveness." However, the coach warned about the difficulty of the transfer market, mentioning that they currently have two goalkeepers and are in talks with the management. Juventus, which finished sixth in Serie A and will not participate in the upcoming Champions League, is looking to improve its squad. Martínez, under contract until June 2029, has a price tag of between 10 and 15 million euros, while Juventus has offered around 6.5 million. Aston Villa has stated that they have no intention of letting him go, highlighting his importance to the team. Given the economic differences, Juventus is also considering other options such as David De Gea and Guglielmo Vicario.
