Fuel Imports by Road Transport Increased by 82% in July
Fuel imports by road transport increased by 82% in July, reaching 60,000 tons due to issues with maritime supplies and shortages in the domestic market. The main suppliers are Lithuania and Romania, with the number of supplying companies rising to 113. The import volume is the highest since September 2025, with 18,000 tons of diesel imported in the last week of July, a record since October 2024. The share of road imports in July accounted for 11% of the total volume. Lithuania provided 67% of the imports (40,200 tons), while Romania supplied 15,700 tons. Supplies from Lithuania more than doubled compared to June, with an annual growth of 13%. Romania increased its volumes by 40% compared to July last year, with 83% of the supplies provided by Oscar Downstream. The leaders in supply volumes were: 'Avtotehservis' - 6,000 tons (+27% year-on-year), 'Bars 2000' - 4,500 tons (2.2 times growth), PG 'Operator' - 2,200 tons (-11%), 'Paid' - 1,700 tons, and UNTK - 1,700 tons (+72%). The company 'Paid' resumed supplies after a pause since the beginning of 2024, forming its own fleet of 200 fuel tankers. 'Ukrnafta' is purchasing 100 new fuel tankers to ensure uninterrupted fuel supply.
