Famous Trader Claims Bitcoin Has Completed Five-Wave Correction, Bottom May Have Formed
Famous trader Killa stated that Bitcoin typically completes a five-wave correction during each bear market, forming two significant peaks. The first peak occurs after the initial major rebound following the top, which is commonly regarded as the "satisfaction peak" when the market believes a bull market has returned. Subsequently, prices usually continue to decline to new lows. Killa pointed out that similar structures appeared in the cycles of 2014, 2022, and 2026. After the satisfaction peak forms, the market often experiences a "dead cat bounce," establishing a temporary bottom; as market sentiment worsens and short positions concentrate, a short squeeze then drives the price rebound, with the final bottom typically forming after the second significant retest. Killa believes that BTC has currently swept through the bottom formed by the "dead cat bounce" and completed a five-wave correction structure similar to previous cycles. From a structural perspective, the correction wave has ended, and the low may have already formed. However, he remains cautious about the timing. Previous bear markets typically lasted about 365 days before forming the final bottom, while this round, if the low has already appeared, has only lasted about 260 days, about 100 days earlier than historical cycles. Currently, he maintains a 50-50 judgment, but the likelihood of forming higher lows in the future is greater compared to significantly making new lows.
