Revolut Delisted USDT: What Affected Customers Need to Know

By: weex|2026/08/05 03:08:44

Revolut has delisted Tether (USDT) for affected customers. Its help centre says USDT does not currently meet the stablecoin regulatory requirements that apply to the crypto service in the customer’s region, including requirements under the EU Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA). Revolut therefore says it can no longer support USDT for those customers.

The public help article does not give a universal deadline, affected-country list or automatic-conversion rule. Check the notice and available actions shown inside your own Revolut account rather than relying on a date quoted elsewhere.

What Revolut confirms

  • USDT has been removed for affected customers because of applicable stablecoin regulatory requirements.
  • Incoming USDT deposits are no longer supported.
  • An incoming USDT deposit will be rejected.
  • After Revolut completes its internal checks, it will ask the customer for a crypto address they own so the rejected deposit can be returned.
  • Customers should not make further USDT deposits to Revolut.

What to do if the change applies to you

  1. Stop sending USDT to Revolut. Revolut says new deposits are rejected, so a new transfer creates a return process rather than funding the account.
  2. Read the in-app notice. The actions available to an existing holder can differ by account and region. Use only the instructions displayed by Revolut for your account.
  3. Confirm ownership of any return address. If Revolut asks where to return a rejected deposit, provide an address you control and verify both the asset and network before submitting it.
  4. Test the destination first when possible. For a meaningful amount, a small test transfer is safer than discovering an address or network mismatch on the full balance.
  5. Keep records. Save the rejection, return and transaction references for accounting and support purposes.

Why the network still matters

USDT exists on multiple networks. An address that accepts USDT on one network may not accept it on another. Match the network stated by the sending service with the network supported by the destination address. A mismatched blockchain transfer can be irreversible.

Choosing another venue

Before moving to any exchange, confirm that it is available where you live, supports the asset and network you intend to use, and provides the market, liquidity, fees and withdrawal access you need. WEEX is centred on perpetual futures, which are leveraged price-exposure products and carry a high risk of loss. If WEEX fits your circumstances, you can create an account and complete verification, then check the current futures market list. Do not send assets until the deposit page confirms the exact asset and network.
