Permacast Completes $8.9 Million Financing Round with Participation from OKX Ventures

Decentralized data infrastructure project Permacast announced on January 15, 2025, that it has completed a Series A financing round, raising over $5 million, bringing its total funding to $8.9 million. The financing supporters include OKX Ventures, Big Brain Holdings, ChainVision, Foresight Research, Digital Humanism, ClearingPoint, 7 O'Clock Capital, Cipholio Ventures, SilverFox Foundation, and several private investors. Permacast stated that as AI models reshape the way information is created and utilized, the demand for trustworthy, permanent, and verifiable data infrastructure is growing. The new funds will be used to accelerate protocol development, expand decentralized network infrastructure, strengthen ecosystem collaborations, and enhance the engineering and product teams.
