Clarity Act Will Not Significantly Impact Digital Asset Industry Regardless of Passage
Mirza Uddin, COO of Injective Foundation, predicted that the Clarity Act would not pose a significant threat to the digital asset industry even if it does not pass this year. He explained that digital asset companies in the U.S. are already continuing their operations, indicating that market concerns are excessive. At an event held at the Conrad Seoul Hotel on the 11th, Uddin stated, "There is a possibility that the bill may not pass, but that does not mean it is bad for the digital asset industry." The Clarity Act aims to streamline the regulatory framework for the U.S. digital asset market and expand the supervisory authority of the SEC and CFTC. Regarding stablecoin regulation, he assessed that the regulatory framework is accelerating companies' entry into the U.S. market. He also positively mentioned South Korea's digital asset policies, stating that South Korea is the second most progressive country in terms of policy after the U.S. Injective plans to expand its institutional business in South Korea and noted that participation from institutions in the tokenization sector is increasing.
