Over 18 million UAH Saved on Three Tenders for the Northern Bypass of Zhytomyr
The Recovery Agency conducted three tenders for technical supervision services for the construction of the Northern Bypass of Zhytomyr, reducing the expected cost of work from 27.0 million UAH to 8.7 million UAH. Three companies participated in each of the three tenders, including foreign firms with representatives in Ukraine. Tender results: 1st stage - expected cost 3.9 million UAH, contract price 1.9 million UAH (savings of 51%); 2nd stage - expected cost 6.5 million UAH, contract price 2.0 million UAH (savings of 69%); 3rd stage - expected cost 16.6 million UAH, contract price 4.8 million UAH (savings of 71%). The total savings amounted to over 18 million UAH, or about 68%. The procedure for signing contracts with the auction winners has begun. The preparatory phase of the reconstruction of the M-06 Kyiv --- Chop highway section continues, with plans to expand the 22-kilometer stretch from two to four lanes.
