Ondo Finance Stops Minting USDY on Aptos and Noble
Ondo Finance has announced that it will cease minting USDY on the Aptos and Noble networks starting September 8. USDY on other supported networks will not be affected. Since USDY on Osmosis and Mantra is bridged from Noble via IBC, the relevant holders will also be impacted. USDY will always maintain full reserve support, and all affected holders will have complete migration or exit paths. Holders with 1000 USDY or more can bridge to other supported networks or redeem at net asset value with Ondo, with a window until September 8, 2027. Holders with less than 1000 USDY can exit through third-party open market liquidity, with a transition period of 90 days until December 7, 2026. Osmosis and Mantra holders can first bridge back to Noble via IBC and then proceed according to the above rules, or exit directly on Osmosis through third-party liquidity.
