Number of Gas Stations in Ukraine Reached 5,393, UPG Increased Licenses by 30
As of August 3, the number of licensed gas stations in Ukraine has increased by 10, reaching 5,393. The UPG network has increased its number of licenses by 30, totaling 482, thanks to the acquisition of the 'Aviagas'/ANP network. Market leader 'Ukrnafta' lost two licenses, reducing its total to 676. OKKO, WOG, 'BRSM-Nefть', AMIC, and 'Parallel' maintained their positions. The Chipo network opened two new gas stations, bringing its total to 69. At the same time, several operators reduced their presence: the Marshal network decreased by three gas stations to 66, while VST, 'Market' gas stations, 'Ovis', 'DniproNeft', and Esko each lost one license. The most significant reduction occurred in the 'Novis Trade' network, which lost seven licenses, and the PPG network, which decreased by five licenses. In the first seven months of 2026, Russian troops attacked 37 gas station complexes of the 'NefteGaz' Group, leading to critical damage and the cessation of operations at some facilities.
