KiiChain Achieves $500 Million in Transaction Volume

KiiChain has surpassed a cumulative transaction volume of $500 million as an on-chain settlement layer for foreign exchange and cross-border payments in emerging markets. This platform connects dollar stablecoins with local currency stablecoins, enabling currency exchange and payments even outside of banking hours. Tiger Research analyzed that this project does not eliminate existing foreign exchange intermediaries but rather integrates dispersed liquidity and execution entities into a single payment layer. KiiChain is described as an on-chain foreign exchange layer that connects global stablecoin liquidity, such as Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC), with local currency markets in emerging countries. The components of KiiChain include the KiiChain App, Kii Oracle, RWA Protocol, and KiiChain Pay. KiiChain Pay connects fiat currency deposits and withdrawals with asset transfers on-chain and relies on external operators and regulatory procedures. KiiChain's on- and off-ramp functions are only available in regions where the law permits, and it requires Know Your Customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering procedures. Currently, there are about 350 B2B2C corporate clients and over 350,000 users, with a funding scale of $26 million. KiiChain's on-chain foreign exchange, non-custodial structure, and cross-chain swaps are operational, with on-chain debit cards expected to be launched soon.
