Amazon Data Centers in Bahrain Damaged by Iranian Missile Attack

On July 28, satellite images revealed that two Amazon data centers located in Bahrain were damaged, corroborating Iran's claim last week that it used missiles to strike these facilities. High-resolution satellite images released by the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps through the Tasnim news agency showed severe damage to the data centers in Zarqa and Askar in Bahrain, stating that the targets were struck because Amazon supports U.S. military operations. Low-resolution images captured by the European Space Agency's Sentinel-2 satellite, reviewed by Bloomberg, also indicated signs of damage at both facilities.
