Strike on Coca-Cola Plant near Kyiv, Company Assesses Consequences
Coca-Cola continues to supply its products in Ukraine following a strike by a Russian drone on its plant in Bolshaya Dimerka, Kyiv region. No workers were harmed, and the financial consequences of the strike are currently being assessed. Coca-Cola is cooperating with Ukrainian law enforcement to analyze the situation and is taking measures to maintain supply. The strike occurred on September 3, when a Russian drone attacked the Coca-Cola Beverages Ukraine plant. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky noted that this is a clear signal from Russia to the United States, emphasizing that Coca-Cola is an American company. According to YouControl, in 2025, Coca-Cola Ukraine Limited's revenue increased by 56.5% to UAH 531.5 million, however, net profit fell more than threefold to UAH 2.4 million, and profitability decreased to 0.45%. The company's assets grew to UAH 410 million.

August job growth of roughly 162,000 and a steady 4.1% unemployment rate pushed the 10-year Treasury yield to around 4.78%, reviving rate-hike pricing and weighing on technology and other long-duration assets. In crypto, bitcoin held near $80,000 as spot ETF inflows remained supportive, signaling that institutional risk appetite has not fully faded.
