Vitalik Updates EIP-8141 Proposal to Support Quantum-Resistant Signatures and Social Recovery
Vitalik has updated the EIP-8141 "Frame Transaction" proposal, with key improvements including atomic batch execution of up to 64 operations, social recovery, P256 quantum-resistant signatures, and the ability for anyone to pay gas fees on behalf of users. These enhancements will significantly improve the usability of Ethereum wallets. The proposal was co-authored by Vitalik and 10 other experts, including lightclient, and is planned to be included in the 2027 Hegotá upgrade, marking an important native implementation of Ethereum account abstraction.
