The combined supply of the two major stablecoins, USDT and USDC, has decreased by approximately $13.9 billion in recent months, with USDT dropping by about $7.4 billion and USDC by around $6.5 billion. Despite the decline in supply, the adoption rate of stablecoins in various financial scenarios continues to grow rapidly. In the first half of this year, the real economic transaction volume of stablecoins reached $8.82 trillion, nearing last year's record of $10.8 trillion, with USDT contributing over half. Notably, against the backdrop of an overall decline in supply, the amount of USDT on the Tron blockchain has increased to a new high of $90.3 billion, gaining $2 billion in the past month. The decrease is mainly in USDT on Ethereum, while the real demand for remittances and payment settlements on the Tron blockchain continues to grow steadily.
