Trump Conducts Over 1,000 Securities Transactions in June, Valued Up to $263 Million
Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, conducted over 1,000 securities transactions in June alone. The transactions included stocks from Berkshire Hathaway, Visa, Mastercard, and Coinbase, with reported values ranging from a minimum of $78.1 million to a maximum of $263.1 million. Trump's largest transaction was the sale of shares in a Vanguard Group exchange-traded fund (ETF) on June 22, with a reported range of $5 million to $25 million. There were also multiple transactions involving Palantir shares, where he purchased between $1,001 and $15,000 on June 3, and sold shares worth between $15,001 and $50,000 on the 16th and between $500,000 and $1 million on the 18th. He then bought more Palantir shares again on June 23 and 24. Trump also traded shares of Berkshire Hathaway, buying between $1 million and $5 million on June 18 and selling some on the 24th. He sold Meta shares worth between $1 million and $5 million on the 18th and later made a small purchase. Although the transaction volume has decreased compared to last year, the frequency remains high. The White House claims there are no conflicts of interest and explains that Trump's investment assets are managed independently.
