The market capitalization of stablecoins on the Solana network has exceeded $15 billion. The current supply stands at $15.16 billion, with USDC accounting for approximately $7.09 billion. Recently, Circle issued an additional $250 million worth of USDC. The price of Solana (SOL) has risen by about 3% in the last 24 hours, surpassing $78, with daily trading volume reaching $1.94 billion. The non-USDC and USDT stablecoin market has recorded an all-time high of $4.81 billion, attributed to the growth of World Liberty Financial's 'USD1' and the global dollar 'USDG'. On-chain activities driven by individual investors have expanded, leading to a 13.1% increase in Solana DEX trading volume on a weekly basis. According to BlockEden, Solana recorded a stablecoin throughput of $650 billion as of February 2026. The surpassing of $15 billion indicates that Solana has secured a foundation to meet DeFi and payment demands without relying on specific issuers. However, opinions are divided on whether this demand is structural or temporary.
