The National Bank of Ukraine introduced two new commemorative coins with a denomination of 10 hryvnias from the series "We Are Strong. We Are Together" on August 28. The coins are dedicated to the Dnipropetrovsk and Kirovohrad regions. NBU Chairman Andriy Pyshny noted that both regions make a significant contribution to the life of the country. The new coins are made from a zinc-based alloy with a nickel coating. The reverse side features a stylized map of Ukraine with the corresponding region highlighted. The total mintage is 2 million pieces for each coin, which will be circulated through banks and cash-in-transit companies. Part of the mintage is formed into rolls of 25 coins, each with a mintage of 15,000 pieces. Recently, the NBU also introduced a commemorative coin with a denomination of 10 hryvnias dedicated to the memory of Ukraine's defenders.
