Lighter Founder Confirms Economic Value Will Belong to Token Holders

Lighter founder Vladimir Novakovski stated that all economic value generated by Lighter will belong to the token holders. Lighter is a U.S. company, and the equity structure prior to the TGE is the same entity as the token structure during the TGE. The equity structure will be converted into a token equity structure table at the TGE, and it will no longer serve any other functions in the future. Lighter completed its final round of equity financing a few months before the TGE, achieving approximately 5 times oversubscription, with a $68 million cap attracting over $300 million in funding intentions. All equity stakeholders were informed of future plans, and the equity value will only be reflected as shares on the token equity structure table, with opportunities to sell their equity. Ultimately, less than 1% of equity holders chose to sell their shares, while the rest opted to stay, supporting Lighter's commitment to the accumulation of value towards tokens.
