Levada Cargo Acquires Stake in Eurobridge Intermodal Terminal

Levada Cargo has acquired a minority stake in Eurobridge Intermodal Terminal in Baty, Zakarpattia. The agreement expands the company's presence in border logistics and provides access to the terminal with both Ukrainian and European gauge. Control of the terminal remains with Hhla International, which retains the majority stake and operational management. The size of the stake and the amount of investment are not disclosed. The terminal is used for freight transportation between Ukraine and the EU and has two types of railway tracks: European gauge of 1435 mm and Ukrainian gauge of 1520 mm. This allows for the transshipment of containerized and bulk cargo between the systems. Eurobridge Intermodal Terminal will become part of Levada Cargo's network, which also owns the Vinnytsia Container Terminal and participates in the Fastiv and Mostyska terminal projects. Levada Cargo operates in the field of multimodal transportation in Ukraine and the EU and is part of the Lemtrans group, which is part of SCM. The company is also implementing two new multimodal container terminal projects in Ukraine.
