Kia Tasman Enters the Mid-Size Pickup Market in Argentina
The new Kia Tasman emerges as a competitor in the mid-size pickup segment in Argentina, which is dominated by a few models. This vehicle aims to attract both traditional users and those looking for a modern option. The Tasman stands out with its robust design and a high level of equipment, prioritizing comfort and technology in its interior, similar to an SUV. It offers two configurations: a turbo gasoline variant and a turbo diesel variant, both with automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Prices start at $57,500 for the base version and reach up to $79,000 for the fully equipped model. The payload capacity exceeds 1,000 kg and it can tow up to 3,500 kg. Additionally, it features advanced technology, including a large integrated screen and driver assistance systems such as autonomous braking and adaptive cruise control. The arrival of the Tasman comes amid increasing competition in the segment.
