Hyperliquid HIP-3 Burns $35.63 Million
In the last 30 days, the burn amount of native tokens related to HIP-3 at Hyperliquid has been recorded at $35.63 million. During the same period, 76.6% of the priority fees were used for HIP-3. Hyperliquid announced on the 18th at 8:27 AM KST that HIP-3 is linked to a burn of $35.63 million. HIP-3 is structured to allow external distributors to create perpetual futures markets on Hyperliquid, with user-based fees being double that of validator-operated perpetual futures, and the distributor's share fixed at 50%. This aggregation shows that HIP-3 is connected not only to the new market opening function but also to the fee and token burn structure. Hyperliquid explained that the assistance fund automatically converts trading fees into HYPE, which is then burned and removed from circulation and total supply. The scale of HYPE burns varies according to trading volume and fee flow. Hyperliquid has applied order priority fees to the mainnet, which have since expanded to all perpetual futures. While this figure cannot definitively determine changes in HYPE prices or market demand, it confirms that HIP-3 trading is an important indicator reflecting HYPE burns.
