Hong Kong Monetary Authority and Securities and Futures Commission Announce First Phase of GenA.I. Sandbox++ Participants
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Securities and Futures Commission, Insurance Authority, Mandatory Provident Fund Authority, and Hong Kong Cyberport have announced the list of participants for the first phase of the Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenA.I.) Sandbox++. A total of 36 use cases were selected from nearly 100 proposals, with participants including 30 financial institutions and 27 technology partners, such as Bank of China (Hong Kong), Huaxia Fund, Ant Blockchain, Google, and IBM. The first phase of the GenA.I. Sandbox++ will focus on exploring applications of Agentic AI, with selected use cases investigating content generation and how to responsibly enhance AI autonomy. The testing will cover the complete processes in areas such as customer account opening, payments, insurance claims, and customer interactions.
