The luxury brand Hermès reported a revenue of €4.1 billion for the second quarter of 2026, which is a 7% increase compared to the same period last year. Sales growth in Europe, the USA, and Japan offset a decline in the Middle East, where sales fell by 2.4% due to the conflict between the USA and Iran. In the first quarter, the decline was 5.9%. Sales in Japan and North and South America showed double-digit growth, while Hermès' largest leather goods division increased revenue by 10.2%. At the same time, revenues from perfume and cosmetics decreased by 9.5%, raising concerns about the attractiveness of this category for middle-income buyers. The company's CEO, Axel Dumas, noted stable results for the first half of 2026 and expressed confidence in a successful second half.
