Galaxy Digital Signs Contract with Fireblocks Trust Company
Galaxy Digital has added Fireblocks Trust Company as a digital asset custody partner for institutional clients. Fireblocks announced on October 8, 2025, that Galaxy Digital has become a client of its regulated custody firm. Fireblocks Trust Company is included in the client list alongside Bakkt, Castle Island, and FalconX. The company received a limited-purpose trust company license from the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) in August 2024. Galaxy Digital is forming a custody network for institutions, incorporating existing partners such as Bakkt Trust, Gemini, and Fidelity Digital Assets, and this addition expands the options for clients to entrust their assets. Andrew Tothman, Chief Operating Officer of Galaxy Digital, noted that Fireblocks' role supports safe and compliant growth in the digital asset market. Galaxy Digital's public custody policy states that it utilizes third-party qualified custodians for asset management clients' assets and applies a multi-custodian model. Specific tokens and asset sizes have not been disclosed.
