Former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan to Participate in Swell 2026 in October

Raghuram Rajan, the former Governor of the Reserve Bank of India, is set to participate in Ripple's annual conference, Swell 2026. The event will take place from October 27 to 29 at The Shed in New York City, focusing on institutional finance, stablecoins, tokenization, and the utility of XRP. According to CoinDesk, Rajan plans to attend the opening institutional summit, but as of the 5th, his name is not listed on the official speakers page for Swell. Ripple has announced over 1,500 attendees and more than 75 speakers, with topics including payments, policy and regulation, stablecoins, tokenization, and the utility of XRP. Rajan is currently a finance professor at the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago and is also part of Ripple's advisory board. Swell 2026 will be integrated with Apex, featuring both a developer conference and an institutional finance forum, with an XRP Ledger hackathon scheduled to take place from October 24 to 25.
