CZ Discusses Returning to 2017 to Build a Global Crypto Platform, Avoiding U.S. Users
In the podcast "Meanders," CZ stated that the first principle of returning to 2017 to build a global crypto trading platform is to avoid U.S. users. He pointed out that having U.S. users means needing to comply with U.S. regulations and obtain relevant licenses. Although U.S. regulations are not entirely consistent, they have the right and ability to enforce them. Additionally, CZ mentioned that contracts and other financial products might launch sooner, with a broader range of financial products. Binance is currently the trading platform that communicates the most with regulators, but its coverage is still insufficient, and the implementation costs are high, including investments in manpower and time management.
