Comfy Changes Warehouse Operations for Safety
The retailer Comfy has optimized the operation of its distribution centers and diversified its warehouse infrastructure. The main solution involves minimizing the presence of goods at the central distribution center. Currently, the distribution center operates in a cross-platform mode, receiving and immediately dispatching goods to stores without prolonged storage. The number of changes and the workforce at the warehouses have also been reduced to enhance safety. There may be local shortages of certain items due to warehouse damage from enemy attacks. Comfy is exploring alternative options to maintain its product range. Due to the distribution of goods across more than a hundred storage locations, the company will incur additional logistics and insurance costs, which negatively impacts inventory turnover, but such investments are justified. As of August 2026, the Comfy network has 115 stores in 56 cities across Ukraine, with plans to open two more locations by the end of the year. Revenue for 2025 amounted to UAH 55.8 billion, with taxes paid totaling UAH 2.3 billion.
