Claude Opens Computer Operations and Browser Tools
Anthropic has officially opened Claude's computer operation capabilities and browser tools. Now, Claude can continuously perform clicks, inputs, keystrokes, and screenshots in a single task without needing to call the model each time. The new browser tool can read both webpage structure and visual information simultaneously, allowing direct interaction with webpages and preventing failures due to changes in button positions. Additionally, Anthropic has opened the Skills API and Files API, enabling developers to encapsulate enterprise processes into reusable Skills, allowing Claude to execute tasks following fixed processes, with files uploaded also being reusable across requests.
