Changxin Storage Sues U.S. Department of Defense to Remove from Blacklist

Prefer us on GoogleChangxin Storage (CXMT) has filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Defense, requesting to be removed from a blacklist. The company claims that its designed chips are intended for civilian and commercial use, not military purposes, and asserts that it has been wrongly placed on the blacklist. The lawsuit has been submitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, with Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin named as the defendant. In a statement, Changxin Storage noted that since being added to the blacklist in January 2025, the company's reputation and business interests have been continuously harmed, and this action is taken to protect its commercial interests. The U.S. Department of Defense stated in a statement that it does not comment on pending or ongoing litigation as per policy.
