Battlefield Map of Ukraine on August 22, 2026
The 1641st day of the war in Ukraine continues. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there were 202 combat clashes in the past 24 hours. The enemy carried out 96 airstrikes, dropping 280 guided bombs, used 10,953 kamikaze drones, and conducted 3,136 shellings of populated areas and positions of Ukrainian troops. Artillery shelling affected the settlements of Bachevsk, Korenyok, Neskuchne, and others. The aviation and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 12 areas of enemy troop concentration, two artillery systems, and two communication means. Four combat clashes were recorded in the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, with the enemy conducting 71 shellings. In the Southern Slobozhansky direction, Ukrainian units repelled 19 attacks. In the Kupiansk direction, there was one offensive action by the enemy. In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy carried out 12 assault actions. In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian invaders conducted six offensive actions. In the Konstantynivka direction, 25 attacks were recorded. In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy made 23 attacks. In the Alexandrovsk direction, three attacks were recorded. In the Hulyaipole direction, the enemy attacked the defenders' positions six times. In the Orikhiv direction, our defenders thwarted three attempts by the enemy to advance. No offensive actions were conducted in the Dnipro direction. In the Volyn and Polissya directions, there are no signs of the formation of offensive groupings.
